Formula's Prepress department has 10 graphics employees that carry out anything from creative presentations and layout to the finished files ready for printing.

We primarily work in Quark XPress, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Naturally, we always use the latest version. Furthermore, we have practically all published programmes at our disposal.

As many agencies and drawing offices work with different platforms, we have Mac as well as PC.

We work with database publishing, e-publishing and cross-media publishing, which means that you can be sure of professional handling of large amounts of data.

Before data is processed in our Screen Workflow, it will be checked for errors through an automatic preflight function. Our Screen Workflow saves time as well as materials, as data is only ripped once, which means that the same data is used for:

  • CGS (digital test print)
  • Plot (digital blue print)
  • CTP ( computer to plate)

Naturally, we also use CIP3 files, generated from our Screen Workflow, for quick and precise adjustment of printing machines.
